Highview Condominium II
Rules and Guidelines
Moving into and out of Highview Condominium II
The procedures for moving** into and out of the building apply to both unit owners and tenants. It is the responsibility of unit owners who are leasing their units to inform their tenants of these procedures.
1. Notify building's managing agent at least five days in advance to schedule a date and time for your move. Moving is only permitted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.. No moving is permitted after 4:00 p.m. or on weekends.2. A $500 security deposit check, made payable to Highview Condominium II, must be delivered to management prior to the move. The check will be returned upon inspection of the building after the move. In the event that there is damage to the building during a move, the amount is deducted from the security deposit. (Any building damage existing prior to a move should be pointed out to the building superintendant.)
3. The managing agent will schedule the move with the building superintendant. The building super will prepare the elevator with padding for the move on the morning of the move and will arrange for the locked section of the front door to be unlocked and opened.
4. Moving trucks are not allowed in the driveway.
5. Failure to follow these directions will result in a $500 fine levied against the unit owner.
** Note: Moving procedures apply to deliveries that are large enough to require the locked section of the front door to be opened by the super or awkward enough to require two people to handle them (such as beds, dining room tables, carpets, refrigerators.) These procedures are required to prevent and assess any damage to common space (such as hallway and elevator walls and ceilings) and to keep the building's only elevator available for transiting residents and guests during busy periods. Please contact the management office or building super for clarification or to discuss special circumstances.
